New Priority Decision Group Sets COMPASS’ Direction

This governance structure of the COMPASS project has recently changed to maximize leadership involvement, fast-track high priority improvements and ensure the best use of Seton Family of Hospital financial resources. The re-organization more closely mirrors the organization used by hospitals with an established electronic health record project.

A new Priority Sequencing Decision Group (PSDG), comprised of senior leaders from the Medical Staff, Nursing, D&T, and Information Services, will meet weekly to determining project goals. This group has the authority to approve or deny COMPASS design changes requested by Seton associates and our physician partners.

Lexi-Comp Now Available

The Seton Family of Hospitals is pleased to offer Lexi-Comp, an online drug reference preferred by physicians and nursing staff. Through Lexi-Comp, clinicians can search multiple databases, including the Seton Family of Hospitals Formulary, with one click.
